All processing is performed locally in your browser using the Web Audio API. Your tracks and tags are never uploaded to our servers.
We have zero access to your content. We do not use your audio to train any AI models, for any purpose, ever.
TrapFlip ("we," "us," or "our") is a browser-based audio utility for music producers. Our canonical domain is trapflip.com.
We collect minimal data to operate the service:
TrapFlip is architected as a privacy-first tool. Every audio operation — decoding, reversing, trimming, pitch-shifting, producer tag mixing, and exporting — runs entirely inside your browser using the Web Audio API.
Your audio files are loaded into browser memory only for the duration of your session. When you close the tab, all audio data is discarded. We have no technical mechanism to access, store, or transmit your audio.
Producer tags you upload are processed locally and are not accessible to other users or to TrapFlip.
We use localStorage to persist your flip history, Pro status token, and free-flip counter across sessions. No third-party tracking cookies are set by TrapFlip. Stripe may set cookies on the payment checkout domain, which is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We do not store your audio. Flip history and BSN records stored in your browser's localStorage remain until you clear them (via the Clear History button in the Flip Tool) or clear your browser data. Stripe retains billing records per their own retention policy.
Because we do not store personal data on our servers, most data subject requests are fulfilled by clearing your browser's localStorage. If you have questions about data held by Stripe, contact Stripe directly. For any other privacy questions, email us at [email protected].
TrapFlip is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy to reflect product changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of TrapFlip after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
